Update time! I feel guilty when I dont log things in. This is the second place I log in my workouts. The other is my running log which absolutely no one gets to see because its the geekiest side of me.
Anyway, since the last post, I logged in 3 workouts all done at noon. I dont know whats this new trend of working out during the hottest part of the day. A new form of masochism perhaps? I did back to back 9 miles. One of the days was the 1.15pm lunch appointment I couldnt make it for :-)
This afternoon was the best! I essentially ran a half marathon in peak afternoon heat. I left at 11.57 and got back in an hour and 55 minutes. I was happy with the speed - 23 kms. I came back totally dehydrated, red, my ponytail drenched with the shakes. I chugged god-knows-how-much water and splashed some on my face. Still feel all jumpy 10 hours later.
Some things for me to ponder:
I will never know myself until I do this on my own.
I will never feel anything else, until my wounds are healed.
I will never be anything till I break away from me.
I will break away, I will find myself today.
Sometimes, growth is borne out of great pain and heartache. Why is it that great love has to wait a lifetime?
I have something to write about slumdog millionaire. But that'd be tomorrow. Right now I feel like crashing.

A rant!
*sigh*. Girls are so irritating. There, I said it. I was speaking with Swatee last night and she lamented the fact that she ate 2000 calories over the weekend. WTF??? Thats like diet food! Considering I just polished off atleast that much between 11pm and midnight last night, I kept my mouth shut. But as anyone who knows me, my silence is criticism enough. She just ended with "ugh - you wont understand".
Anyway, I have felt a weird ache in my bones since my massage. Maybe I'm getting old - but I've literally had to force myself to work. I'm glad I did. I capped this morning with my longest stair workout ever and jumped rope for 7 minutes!
1650 single stair sprints (830 doubles quite fast) in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Plus a 7 minute jump rope session which attracted more than a few weird stares.
So Swatee and girls in general - please eat :-) and realise that the size of your heart is alot more important than the size of your ass!
