18 miles this am (30 kms). It was supposed to be a 8 mile max recovery but I just couldnt help it. I felt strong and actually passed every single runner on my trail this morning. I usually get done around 6 every morning, so dont often get a chance to run with anyone. This morning I finished later than I ever do - 8am and it was already very very hot.
18 glorious miles this am 140 minutes. I hope this strength lasts another 5 weeks or so. I am a bit nervous running in the one of the hottest months in Asia!

One of the best mornings...ever!!
I am so proud of my morning. What are the limits of the human body? How far can we push ourselves? I did more miles this morning that I ever have - and I still had enough gas left for another 6 miles atleast! I love pushing boundaries - all before 7am!
Everyday I say a silent prayer to the Lord, thanking him for being there for me and feeling so blessed that my body can do what it can. Thank you!
400 sprints 80 minutes
12 mile run 90 minutes (this is essentially a half marathon!! and I think this is a personal best time for me)
40 lap swim in 23 minutes.
See what I mean??

Sugar!
I often get called "different". Actually, correction. Make that, I always get called "different". There *may* be some truth to it. What sort of person can eat (please bear with me - its the last eating post for awhile, promise!) half a kilo of Dodha, followed by many many jalebis an hour later, followed by chocolat, followed by ice cream, followed by chocolat again and then (whew) think Gatorade is too sweet?? Well, thats yours truly! Yes, I said it : Gatorade is too sweet. All these years as an athlete, I have never had a sports drink - Never! I could only stomach half before my run this pm before gagging and at almost 300 calories - I would rather eat...well...10 potato crisps - how sad is that?! (I would actually rather have namak paare - discovered a place in Singapore that makes them fresh every morning!)
250/500 sprints on the stairs!
P.S. its only 5 weeks to Sundown - which means I only have about 14-15 proper runs before I get into tapering. Yikes!

Wednesday medium
Maybe if we are surrounded by beauty, someday it will become what we see.
Its easy to start a conflict, its harder to disregard it.
I'd rather look at the world from another angle. We are everyday angels. God bless!
An easy 9 miles @ 70 minutes
35 laps in warm water - just over a mile.
I am loving these runs lately - I dont have that much time to do them though - the last 7 or so days have been on a curfew.

Hot dogs!
A fat juicy Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and spicy English Mustard coddled in a honey wheat bun - makes this athlete a very happy girl!
It was perfect following a some-what tempo this am. I started later than I usually do, as a result I was pressed for time.
8.5 miles
4 slow, 4 progressive and 10 60m strides at the end - this increases stride length and cadence. *I hope*

Recovery Sunday
Ran relatively late this morning - around 6. Gave myself a one hour curfew and the legs decided today was recovery. So recovery it was.
7 easy this am - no sweat!
